Blog 7: Which expert in my field do I admire?

Hi everyone, today I am going to talk about an industrial designer whom I admire and who made one of my favorite cars to date, his name is Walter de Silva.

Walter de Silva is an Italian designer who is arguably one of the most influential designers today. He began his career in the late 80's at Fiat and then moved to Alfa Romeo where he left designs such as the 146, 156 and 147.

With the turn of the century he was hired by SEAT and that has conditioned the rest of his career, because to this day he is still linked to the Volkswagen Group doing outstanding projects. After a while he settled at Audi where he designed one of my favorite cars, the Audi R8. 

 

You could say that I admire this designer because he made many cars which I loved and are still my favorites. His designs are very varied, he can design a Hypercar or even a family car without problems and still keeping its essence.
