Blog 2: My career

Today I am here to tell you about why I chose my career and what I wanted to study when I was younger. 

When I was a kid I dreamed of being a race car driver, I remember I was so obsessed with it that I played with a box that had a car with doors and all those things drawn on it, so I would get inside the box and imagine I was driving a race car.

When I was in high school that dream of being a racing driver fizzled and I was left with the idea of being a designer or 3D animator, I really liked the world of video games and character design or environment of these. But my parents didn't support me so much so I had to change my way of thinking. I started to look for something that would give me a future like the one they wanted for me, so I chose to study Architecture.

When I was about to graduate from high school I had a crisis that made me doubt about the career I wanted to study, "Did I really want to study Architecture?", I really didn't want to study that, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life at that moment so I took a sabbatical year to rethink my ideas and also to study well for the PSU.

In that year I learned a lot of things about myself and the things I wanted for my life, so I decided to study design because it was a career where I could dedicate myself to what I wanted in the future and not just focus on one thing, I wanted to be creative and take my ideas to the world.
